Mizan for Legal Studies and Human Rights has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture. This partnership aims to provide a comprehensive package of legal and psychological support to the families of the missing in Syria.
As a first phase, the joint project will target 50 families of victims of enforced disappearance in the cities of Daraya and Deir Ezzor, with the goal of empowering them legally and helping them cope with the profound psychological impacts of this crime.
Mizan places the cases of the missing and their families at the core of its priorities, remaining committed to tirelessly amplifying their voices in international forums and providing all possible forms of support to ensure their rights and achieve justice.
